Steps to Install Tomcat

Following are the steps for tomcat insallation.

•  On the page http://tomcat.apache.org/download-60.cgi when you click on:

Windows Service Installer (pgp, md5) , following screen would show up, you can either save it first and then install it or click on Run to install :

•  After download execute the file. The below window will appear. Now click "Next":

•  The license window appera on the screen. Then click "I Agree":

•  Select Full in the combo box and click "Next"

•  Click Next:

•  Click Next:

•  Click Install:

•  The following screen would show installation is in progress:

•  Click Finish:

•  Open Internet Explorer and type url – http://localhost:8080/ and if the following screen appears then it means you have successfully installed tomcat.
